OVERVIEW

My work as a published author spans more than a decade, resulting in six novels across a wide spectrum of genres. This portfolio showcases my versatility as a storyteller, from literary fiction published under my own name to a bestselling young adult trilogy, a rural thriller, and a humor novel released under a pseudonym to explore different narrative territories.

Published Under My Name

parque primavera
Parque Primavera

“Parque Primavera” begins where many stories end: with the memory of a first kiss between two teenagers, Eva and Juan. Twenty years later, Eva awakens to a different reality—divorced, and a mother. That same morning, her daughter disappears, and in a cruel twist of fate, the detective assigned to her case is Juan, the first love she hasn’t seen in decades.

The ensuing investigation unearths not only the chilling reality of vicarious violence at the hands of Eva’s ex-husband but also the buried history of a love that never faded. The story unfolds not through a single narrator, but through the rich, interwoven voices of the many characters who populate “Parque Primavera” (Spring Park) itself. Their perspectives, memories, and secrets drive the plot forward, painting a vivid portrait of a community and a country in transformation.

At its core, “Parque Primavera” is a story about the power of second chances, a tense thriller about a mother’s fierce love, and a literary exploration of how time changes us—and what it can’t erase. Based on a short story I first wrote at the age of fifteen, this novel is the culmination of a lifelong narrative pursuit.

Genre Fiction & Narrative Exploration (Published under a pseudonym)

Genre Fiction & Narrative Exploration

Beyond my literary fiction, I’ve always been passionate about exploring the narrative mechanics and unique voices of different genres. Using a pseudonym gave me the creative freedom to dive into worlds of high-stakes adventure, intricate thrillers, and sharp, experimental humor. This collection represents my work in crafting engaging, plot-driven stories for diverse audiences, each with its own distinct universe.

The “Tren a Mare” Trilogy (Young Adult Fiction) A coming-of-age saga that follows the journey of Valeria, a small-town girl who moves to Madrid to pursue her dream of music stardom. The trilogy charts the rise of her band, “Tren a Mare,” exploring themes of ambition, friendship, and finding your voice.

La quietud del barro (Political Thriller) A raw and tense political thriller that delves into the dark world of high-level corruption and the abuse of minors in Valencia, weaving a complex web of secrets and power.

La conspiración del onminmental (Absurdist Humor) An experimental work of absurd and mathematical humor that plays with temporal paradoxes and numerical concepts. The novel constantly breaks the fourth wall, speaking directly to the reader and inviting them to make choices that help advance the plot.
